The Hotel is located within walking distance of downtown. It was originally an orphanage built 460 years ago.  It is close to historical, cultural and shopping sites and has georgeous views of the valley and city, from our rooftop especially. Also,  enjoy our beautiful gardens and it´s romantic atmosphere.

Hacienda de las Flores  offers purified water throughout, plus a computer center, pool, gardens and a small conference room. Each room has heat, cable color TV, phone, electric blankets, fridges and microwave, ceiling fan, iron and board plus a coffeemaker. Reservations can be made for golf, tennis, horseback riding, language and art schools, massage,  hair stylist,  as well as the  rental of bicycles or motorcycles.

NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL HOLIDAYS FROM DECEMBER 21ST TO JANUARY 2ND, HOLY WEEK, INDEPENDENCE DAY, PAMPLONADA AND ST. MICHAEL'S DAY ARE CONSIDERED HIGH SEASON.

SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE  is known for its perfect climate. Located up in the mountains at a height of approx. 1,860 mts. contributes to have a dry and temperate climate  to be fresh  in the summer, with beautiful blue skies and gorgeous sunsets.

The city has been declared a National Historic Monument since 1926 and maintains its colonial architecture and environment,  and will soon be part of "World Heritage" by UNESCO.

Flat shoes are recommended to walk in our cobblestone streets.

 

TO ARRIVE TO SAN MIGUEL:

1) In Mexico City: from Central del Norte terminal, buses run at different schedules up to 5:30 PM.   ETN (is the best), PRIMERA PLUS (almost as good) and HERRADURA DE PLATA are the bus lines, recommended.

2) First class buses run from the Mexico City airport to Queretaro (check schedule) they arrive at bus station "A". If same line does not run to San Miguel in side "A", ask for helper to take you with your luggage to side "B", and look again for PRIMERA PLUS OR HERRADURA DE PLATA. They have  buses running OFTEN with different schedules to San Miguel until 10 PM. Buses in Mexico are usually comfortable and clean with TV's every few seats.

3) Private chauffeurs  or vans from Travel Agencies are also called to pick you up at reasonable prices to Mexico City, San Luis Potosi, the Silao-Leon or Querétaro airports. Indicate flight, airline and  time of arrival.
